Application Deadline: January 30, 2026, by 5:00 PM All completed applications must be submitted by this deadline. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the Baylor College of Medicine Admissions Committee. To be considered complete, an application must include the following: • Acceptance to the University of Houston (UH) • Acceptance to the UH Honors College • Completed Houston Premedical Academy (HPA) application •Three letters of recommendation (at least two must be from DHSHP teachers) • An official high school transcript Important Notes: • Official transcripts must be requested from the DeBakey High School registrar before the January 30 deadline. • UH and Honors College applications, along with all required supplementary materials, must also be submitted before the January 30 deadline. Students must be accepted to both UH and the Honors College to be eligible for an HPA interview. Letters of Recommendation: As part of this application, you will be asked to provide the names and email addresses of your letter writers. Once you submit the application, your recommenders will automatically receive an email with instructions for submitting their letters. Be sure to ask them in advance if they are willing to write on your behalf. Recommenders have until February 6, 2026 to submit their letters. Recommenders will need your 7-digit UHID in order to submit your letter, so be sure to provide them with your ID.
