Undergraduate Research Travel Fellowship Application

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Major Awards is fortunate to support undergraduate researchers in sharing their research through the Undergraduate Research Travel Fellowship. Individual applicants may apply for up to $750 towards costs associated with presenting their research at a regional, national, or international conference.

The maximum award an applicant is eligible to receive may be reduced in the following cases:
- Multiple applicants from the same group presentation
- Multiple individual applicants attending the same conference

To apply for a travel fellowship please complete the following application and attach an abstract and confirmation of your conference acceptance. In addition to submitting this online application form, a letter of recommendation from your faculty mentor is required. The letter can be emailed to llgarza9@uh.edu.

Applications must be submitted no less than 30 days prior to travel.
