The Honors College, in partnership with the University of Houston Law Center and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, offers an undergraduate/law dual degree program called 3+3. It allows the opportunity for exceptional students to attend the Honors College for three years and then begin studies at the UH Law Center one year early. Upon completion of the first year of law school, students will earn a degree in Liberal Studies, with a minor in Phronesis, the study of law, politics and ethics and a second minor from CLASS. The program will offer mentoring, support, speakers and access to the UH Law Center faculty and staff. To be considered, you must be an incoming freshman, or in some cases sophomore in the Honors College. Transfer students are welcome to join the pre-law cohort but are not eligible to graduate early. If you are interested in being considered please complete the Interest Form below and we will follow up with a formal application and additional information.
